Volunteer With Us

Be the village. Support is not complicated. It's showing up. Our volunteers put books in hands at pop-ups, sort and pack donations, back our youth programs, and help carry literacy behind the wall.

Tell us a little about you and we will be in touch.

At the Bus

Help run free book pop-ups: greet families, help children pick books, and keep the line moving.

Books & Drives

Sort, pack, and organize donated books, and help host community book drives that stock the bus.

Youth & Justice

Support youth workshops, or help with prison and juvenile literacy visits and library builds.

Volunteer application

Count me in.

Every answer helps us place you right and keep our youth and families safe. Nothing is shared outside the Foundation.

Correctional facility volunteering

Some of our literacy work happens inside.

These roles can include security screenings, strict protocols, and working with incarcerated men and women in a structured educational setting. If that is not for you, that is completely fine. If it is, second chances are a beautiful thing.

Please note: applicants are responsible for any background check and driving record fees.

Why it matters

Lift as you climb.

Every hour you give helps another young reader open that same door, the one that opens the whole world. Be literate. Be educated. Be dope.
