Urban Reads Foundation, Inc. ("Urban Reads," "we," "us," or "our") operates urbanreadsfoundation.org and the programs described on it, including the Black Star Line Literacy Bus and BookMark It! In this policy, "you" means anyone who visits our site, contacts us, signs up for a program, donates, volunteers, or opts in to receive text messages from us.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We share information only with service providers who help us operate (for example, email or text-message delivery), and only as needed to provide that service, or when required by law.

You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. You can unsubscribe from email at any time, and you can stop text messages by replying STOP. To request deletion of your data, or to make any other request about your information, contact us using the details below and we will act on your request promptly.
Many of the people we serve are young readers, and we take that seriously. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children without the involvement of a parent, guardian, or partnering school or organization. If you believe a child has given us information without that involvement, contact us and we will remove it.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of our site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
